And not just the Jones Act (we can thank the Unions for that).
Today's news carries the story that 16 skimmer barges were shut down by the Coast Guard, because they "needed to confirm that there were fire extinguishers and life vests on board".
Obama evidently needs to draw this thing out for a few more months - probably so he can take credit for whatever fix comes along.
