Internet Addiction

Pamela at Atlas Shrugs is looking at the enforcers of Islamic Law in Gaza and the rest of the Palestinian territories. It seems as if the brave fighters can't beat the Israelis (men or women) so they are going after their own women. Nothing too unusual for "them". However the press release given out by the enforcers has this interesting bit:

Addressing female students, the group said: "We will have no mercy on any woman who violates the traditions of Islam and who also hang out in Internet cafes."

According to the group, its members used rocket-propelled grenades to attack 12 Internet cafes and a number of music shops in different parts of the Gaza Strip.

It said the places were targeted because they were "distracting an entire generation of Palestinians from their duty to worship [Allah] and jihad so that they could serve their Zionist masters and the Crusaders."
I think it is way past time that we put "internet addiction" to good use for our side. Not just as a side effect but as a concious effort.

I keep saying that our best ally in this war is Electricity delivered with the help of a Neighborhood Development Package. Plus the internet. If we could look clearly at this picture we would see that we cannot lose. The problem is clarity.

The actual mechanics of doing this are not hard. What is hard is to get the focus and the will.

Electrictity, after 150 years, it is finally catching on.
